Topcutters

Our topcutters feature a high production rotating tungsten carbide tipped drum producing a very fine trench edge offering an excellent key for reinstatement without further cutback. Accurate variable depth working in order to avoid existing underground services.
Overall a cost effective alternative to diamond saws and hydraulic hammers significantly reducing the cost of open cut trenching.


Widely used for all types of utility services including gas, water, electricity and telecommunications.








Open Trenching

Trenchers for soil, rock and the highway provide an efficient and cost effective method of installing most types of utilities particularly suited to installing services, ducts or pipelines across country but equally on highways or verge.

We have a wide range of machinery with various options including laser levelling and forward facing spoil conveyors.





Trenchless

Laying services directly into the ground using the Inter-Drain Plow minimizes soil disturbance and reduces the cost of reinstatement.

The angled blade slices through the ground, lifting and separating the soil allowing the service or pipe to slide through the purpose-built chute with the forward progress of the machine.  Pipe surround and marker tape can be installed at the same pass.

The combination of cleated tracks and 325 horsepower make the Plow ideal for wet or unstable ground and even in the worst conditions we can add a tractor-mounted winch to provide maximum power.
