The Inter-Drain Plow is a trenchless machine capable of installing services directly
into the ground.
The angled blade slices through the
ground, lifts and separates the soil, allowing the service or pipe to slide through a
purpose-built pipe chute with the forward/progress movement of the machine. Pipe surround
and marker tape can also be accurately measured.
If the combination of cleated tracks, 35
tonnes and 325 horsepower does not get adequate traction in poor conditions or deep
installations, a winch tractor is brought in to give assistance.
This is a fast method of installation
that minimises soil disturbance and reduces reinstatement.
Able to work in unstable, wet ground
conditions and areas where there are hidden obstructions, ie. landfill sites or reclaimed
land.
